In addition to the large choir, Collegium Musicum also has a chamber choir. It currently consists of around 24 members. These are experienced singers from the large choir who find more challenge and depth in the chamber choir. The pace of the rehearsals is therefore higher and the music is more complicated. The chamber choir works on many different pieces during the year. Part of it is performed at the concerts in December and June, but the chamber choir also has its own concerts. For example, two Bach cantatas are on the program each year and there is a separate chamber choir concert to conclude in June. During the year there are more projects in which the chamber choir participates. This choir was the supporting act for the Nederlands Kamerkoor. For the Leiden October 3 celebration, there was cooperation with the Marine Chapel of the Royal Navy led by Arjan Tien-du Toit.

Like the big choir, the chamber choir is conducted by Gerrit Maas.
The board is assisted by the chamber choir representatives for the organization of chamber choir rehearsals and concerts. For recent information about the projects of the chamber choir, follow the chamber choir on the Facebook page of the Chamber choir.
